The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) is the governing body for healthcare regulation for the city of Winnipeg, the Rural Municipalities of East St. Paul and West St. Paul, and the town of Churchill in the Canadian province of Manitoba. Established in December 1999, the WRHA is one of five Regional Health Authorities in Manitoba responsible for coordinating health services in designated regions. The WRHA is composed of health care providers and management professionals who coordinate, manage, deliver, allocate funds to and evaluate health care and health promotion in Winnipeg. The WRHA reports through a Board of Directors directly to the Minister of Health, they are equally accountable to the public. The WRHA receives funding from the Government of Manitoba each year to pay for health service delivery in Winnipeg. The WRHA is divided into 12 community areas for the purpose aiding the delivery of health services. In October 2008, WRHA was named one of Manitoba's Top Employers, which was announced by the Winnipeg Free Press newspaper. ==Facilities==
